Shake & Stir - Storage Tips
Shake & Stir - Storage Tips
A Little Note on Real Ingredients
Because we use a high amount of real cashew and almond butters rather, you might notice some natural oils gathering at the top. This is a great sign. It means your ChocoZee is packed with genuine nuts.
Before you dive in, simply give the jar a good stir or a quick shake to bring all that creamy goodness back together.
Storage Tip
For the best texture, please keep your jar in the pantry at room temperature (under 25C) rather than the fridge. This keeps the milk chocolate and nut butters soft, smooth, and ready for your spoon.

Common Cravings & Questions
A Few Spoonfuls of Info
Why ChocoZee?
We simply wanted to try something a little different. While most chocolate spreads use hazelnuts, we chose to blend milk chocolate with creamy almonds and cashews butters. We see ChocoZee as a premium nut butter that has a lovely chocolate flavor, rather than a candy spread. It is just our way of offering a nutty, simple alternative for your morning toast or midnight dessert.
Don’t get us wrong, hazelnuts are lovely looking and very tasty nuts. But we also think they might be a little over-loved in most pantries. We wanted to share our love for almonds and cashews because we find them to be just as tasty and nutrient-dense. By giving them the spotlight, we created a spread that is perfectly sweet and a little more balanced.
What does it mean for ChocoZee to be Ontario’s Own Chocolate Spread?
It represents a shared dream. We are asking the people of our province to help us define what an Ontario chocolate spread should be. It is about a local spread that grew through word of mouth and neighborly trust.
Every jar is a tribute to the people of Ontario who believed in us from the very first stir.
Our dream is to represent the goodness of Ontario in every spoonful, proving that a small, local idea can grow into a global favorite through simple, honest trust.
Does ChocoZee need to be refrigerated?
It is best to keep your jar in the pantry. Refrigeration will cause the real nut butters to firm up, making it harder to spread. Keeping it in a cozy spot ensures it stays soft, creamy, and easy to enjoy with a spoon.
Why do I need to stir my jar? Is oil separation normal?
Since we use a lot of real almond and cashew butters, the natural oils can sometimes gather at the top. This is a normal part of using real nut butters. If you see a little oil, just give the jar a gentle stir or a quick shake to bring the creaminess back together.
I live in the London area. How do I get the $1 local delivery?
We are happy to bring it right to you. When you enter your address at checkout, our system will recognize your postal code if you are nearby. If you are in our local delivery zone, the $1 option will appear automatically. We personally handle these deliveries to make sure your jars arrive safely.
How do you justify the premium pricing of ChocoZee?
We focus on putting as many real nuts into the jar as possible. A 375g jar of ChocoZee is made of over 45 percent premium nut butters (or over 130 kernels of cashews & almonds combined), which is quite a bit higher than many traditional chocolate spreads. While this makes our cost a little higher, we believe the quality of the ingredients is worth it. As our small business grows, we hope to find more ways to make our spreads even more affordable for everyone.
What is the shelf life of a jar?
An unopened jar will stay fresh for about 18 months if kept in a cool, dry place.
Once it is open, it usually disappears pretty quickly around the house, but it will stay delicious as long as you keep the lid tucked on tight and store it in your pantry.
Are there any allergen warnings?
Yes, we want everyone to stay safe. ChocoZee contains Milk, Almonds, Cashews, and Soy.
Our spreads are also made in a facility that may handle peanuts and sesame seeds and other tree nuts. Please check the label if you have any specific food sensitivities.
